Why I'm asking you to pay during beta

I got out of a psychiatric hospital in October 2025. Within hours of coming home, I started building SanctumTools — because I needed it and nothing like it existed.

I have Bipolar I, BPD, PTSD, and Autism. I've been hospitalized. I've been in crisis at 2 AM with nowhere to turn. I know what it feels like when your brain is on fire and every app just hands you a form.

I built something different. And I've been using it on myself every single day since.

I can't afford weekly DBT therapy. My insurance covers my psychiatrist for meds and therapy once a month. That's not enough. It was never enough. So I built the thing that fills the gap.

The $35/month covers my real costs — Claude API, business insurance, hosting. I'm not making money during beta. I'm asking you to help me keep the lights on while we build this together.

When SanctumTools hits profitability, founding beta members get free access for life. That's not a marketing promise. It's in the agreement you'll sign.

Dashboard — Your Command Center

Everything in one place — the moment you log in

Your dashboard shows what matters right now: your AI companion ready to talk, today's mood states logged, medications taken, sleep quality, pain level, upcoming appointments, and your daily goals — all at a glance.

No hunting through menus. No starting from scratch. It knows your day so far and picks up where you left off.

Chat — Mood Logging & Support

I asked for a recipe. It checked on me first.

Feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or just having one of those days where everything feels like too much? Kids running wild, laundry piling up, and dinner still not figured out — especially when the meat isn't even thawed yet?

That's where SanctumTools comes in. Just say, "I'm feeling a little off today. I have these ingredients — what can I make for dinner?" and let it take it from there.

Simple, supportive, and exactly what you need when life feels heavy — SanctumTools delivers, every time.

Finances

Tired of not knowing where your money went?

Just tell SanctumTools what you have coming in and going out. It tracks your bills, due dates, and what's left after — all in one place, no spreadsheet required.

You can even log bills conversationally. "My mortgage is $1,000 due on the first." Done. It's tracked.

Analytics

See your patterns before your psychiatrist does

Every entry you make builds into something bigger. Analytics shows you mood intensity over time, sleep duration and quality, how your mood states break down, medication adherence, pain levels, and where pain hits most — all in one view.

Choose 7, 14, 30, or 90 days. Watch the patterns emerge. Then hit "Generate Report" and walk into your next appointment with actual data instead of trying to remember how the last month felt.

Reports

Walk into your appointment with actual data

Choose your report type — Psychiatrist, SSDI/Disability, or Comprehensive — pick your date range, and SanctumTools generates a PDF with everything: mood entries, sleep data, medication adherence, episodes, and pain logs.

No more trying to remember how the last month felt. No more "things have been okay I guess." Hand them a document. Let the data speak.

Medications

Never lose track of what you took and when

Just say "I took my night meds" and it's logged. No tapping through menus, no hunting for the right screen — just tell it like you'd tell a friend.

Your active medications, dosages, and schedules live in one place. The log history shows exactly what was taken and when, so you're never guessing at your next appointment.

The dashboard even shows you at a glance how many you've taken today — 2/3 means one more to go.

Sleep

Sleep affects everything. Track it like it matters.

SanctumTools morning check-in - asks for bed time, wake time, pain, and mood

Every morning, SanctumTools asks what time you went to bed and woke up — specific times, not just "how'd you sleep." It captures your sleep data right then, in the moment, not hours later when you've already forgotten.

It calculates your sleep duration automatically and tracks it over 14 days so the pattern becomes impossible to ignore.

Because "I haven't been sleeping well" means nothing to a psychiatrist. "My average sleep was 4.2 hours over the last two weeks" means everything.

Wellness & Goals

Small wins add up. Track them.

Set daily, weekly, or custom goals — medication, hygiene, therapy, self-care, social, or anything else. Check them off as you go. Log your mood and pain in the same place. Track your finances too.

On the hard days, the completed checkboxes prove you did more than you think you did. On the good days, they show you what's working.

Episodes

Document the big ones so you don't have to remember them alone

Not every mood shift is an episode — but some are. Manic episodes, depressive crashes, mixed states, crises, hospitalizations. Log the type, severity, start date, trigger, symptoms, what you did, and the impact.

This is the documentation that makes a disability case. This is what you bring to a psychiatrist when you need them to understand what actually happened — not your best guess two weeks later.

Hygiene

When basic self-care gets hard, track that too

Shower, hair wash, teeth morning, teeth night. Log when you did it, your energy level, and any barriers — pain, depression, time, motivation. SanctumTools tells you exactly how many days since each one.

Hygiene crashes first during depression. Tracking it isn't shameful — it's data. It shows when you're struggling before you can even put it into words.
